It's taken time, but finally we have the first commercial robot slaves. One step closer to Arnie appearing naked in a town near you. Hot on the heals of Honda, Toyota have teamed up with more Japanese boffins to create a 'Home Assistant Robot'.It's 155cm tall and weighs 130kg, so it's clearly not a toy and at $10,000 that makes it expensive even as a big boys toy.
Boffins say it can learn (if you beat it hard enough), it can clean rooms, put away dishes from a table, open and close doors and even do the laundry.
